How to Hold the Fiddle
She holds the fiddle between her thumb and first finger, and leaves a little space under the fiddle neck.
She doesn't let the fiddle rest on the palm of her hand and doesn't let the body of the fiddle rest on her arm.
Pretend you have a little mouse or a baby chick sitting on your hand. Leave it some space to look out
between your thumb and first finger! Another thing is to put a golf ball in your palm and try to hold the
fiddle like in the picture.
See, her fingers are curved so her finger tips push on the strings. She has to stretch her baby finger
to get it on the stripe. You may need to do the same thing.
